 Ark of Learning

Christian Preschool and Child Care Center. Established in 1964.

Welcome to the Ark of Learning! For those that are new to the Ark, we look forward to getting to know you and your child/children.

The Ark of Learning, part of the Family Ministries at Mt. Moriah, provides safe, comforting and nurturing care for infants through pre-kindergarten children. Founded upon Christian principles, children learn how to show care towards others, how to pray, and basic Bible stories as part of their curriculum. They also learn other age-appropriate skills.

Depending on our current staffing, we may also offer care for school-agers before and after their public school days. Limited transportation between West Clermont elementaries and the Ark of Learning is available.

Contact the Ark to learn what is currently available or to schedule a tour of the school.

Just a few important points:

  • Please do not allow your children to be anywhere in the building unsupervised. We ask that you walk your child to his/her classroom every day.

  • We appreciate a phone call or email if your child is not going to be attending on his/her scheduled day.

  • Please ensure that your child has a change of clothes. We get messy sometimes.

  • Each family is required to have a credit card on file to ensure we receive tuition payments on time. If paying with cash or check, payment needs to be in the tuition box by the beginning of the current week.

  • A week’s notice is required for vacation days.

  • Parents arriving after closing time (5:30pm) to pick up their child will be charged a late fee $1.00 per minute per family after 5:35pm.

Please refer to the parent handbook for more details.

You are invited to watch the Chapel videos on this Youtube playlist to explore with your child.
